Gunner's Baptism

Gunner Scott was baptized this past Sunday at St. Timothy's.  Both of my kids had the honored of being baptized by Scott's Uncle Steve which is so special to us.  Our very good friends, Brent and Lindsay, are Gunner's Godparents and we are so lucky to have them in our lives.  They will be welcoming their own little one into the world around Christmas and we can't wait!

Around 12:30 am on Saturday night, Harper woke up vomiting and with an extreme temperature.  I knew right away after checking her throat that she had a horrible case of strep throat.  Luckily Pops stayed home with her while we went to church and our awesome pediatrician saw her on Sunday (such a Guardian Angel!) and we started antibiotics right away.  We just love Dr. Rose.

It was a wonderful day with our family and Harper was a trooper even though she felt terrible.

Scott probably wears a tie one day out of an entire year.  He said it was for Gunner.  I think my men look handsome.

8 Weeks of Gunner Scott

Our little guy is 8 weeks! Even though some days feel like they'll never end when I'm home with the two kids, time is really flying by.

Gunner is a big guy and I'm anxious to see how much he weighs at our 2 month check up next week.

He is eating about 4 ounces of formula every two-three hours. After two very painful breast infections, feeling like death and lots of antibiotics I chose to switch to formula solely. Pumping with a newborn and 3 year old was not working for me and I truly look up to all you Mommy's who can do it.  You are my Heros!!

He is a very happy morning and evening baby and has really started to coo, smile and take in the world! He loves to snuggle and loves his Mommy.

I started putting him in his crib a couple weeks ago and we are still perfecting night time. He goes down around 9 or so and will sleep till 2 or 3. I feed him and he grunts and toots around for awhile and finally goes back to sleep and wakes again around 5. By this time he usually escapes his swaddle and has to be readjusted and will fall back to sleep until about 7. He is not the rockstar sleeper his sister was at this age but we will get there!! He is just a gassy little man :)
