Weekend in Nada

We had a great weekend in Nada hanging out with family and friends.

Friday night I finally made it to the fish fry and it was delicious as always. We saw many of Harper's future running buddies and then then hung out at my parent's house.

Saturday we had a family work day at Circle K and cleaned up the lake house. Harper and Wade played and napped together.

Then on Saturday night, my Dad, Memo and Popo babysat while all the ladies went to the Spoon's Tournament.

We ended the weekend with a yummy lunch and bluebonnet pictures. Wade will HATE us in about 20 years. My Mom bought the babies matching sailor outfits and it was hilarious!! Alyson took pictures with her camera so my iPhone pictures will have to do for now.

Harper seems to be feeling better and has four teeth on top now. I think she has about six in all and is weighing around 19 lbs. She can stand on her own but is still gaining strength in her legs.

Growing up too fast!

Poor Baby Girl

Scott and I went out of town Thursday to Kerrville. We had a great time but right as we left Nada on Thursday, Harper started running fever. Mom took her to a PA in El Campo and she had double ear infections AGAIN!!!

She started on a round of antibiotics and was a very happy girl all weekend even though she was sick again. Mom took her to the Houston Zoo and she loved it.

We noticed a rash on her forehead yesterday. By last night it had spread all over her body. It looked horrible but it didn't seem to bother her too much.

We went and saw Dr. Rose this morning and Harper was having an allergic reaction to Penicillin. She started a round of steroids and tomorrow will begin different antibiotic to kick these ear aches to the curb.

I feel so bad for her. We're just hoping we can finally heal her ears and get over all this sickness!!!

Heart Warming

Nothing fills my teacher/future librarian heart more than walking into a room and seeing my daughter with an open book "reading".

9 Month Cowgirl!

Baby girl is 9 months old and more crazy and silly than ever. She is talking nonstop and eating like there is no tomorrow. I can't believe in 3 short months Harper will be 1 and then I get to spend the summer with her!!

We bought this for her last night and she loves it!

Look at me go!

Here's video from earlier in the week when she was sick with pink eye and ear infections.
