Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas from our family to yours!

Waiting on the little one while she naps and we head to Christmas number 4 and 5.

Feeling so blessed to have so many wonderful family and friends and thanking our Lord for giving his only son.

New York Part 1

One on my dreams was to take my mom to New York.  I had been a couple years ago right after I found out I was pregnant with Harper.  Last Christmas Jenna, Erin and I decided we would plan a girls trip for the next year.  It all worked out and we headed to New York two Thursdays with our Moms.
Christmas in New York is spectacular.  The spirit and contagious and the hustle and bustle is dreamy.

We stayed at the Double Tree is Time Square which is right in the middle of all the madness!
Lady Liberty was our first stop.

Then the Financial District.
The Twin Towers Memorial is stunning.  They are still in the process of building the four buildings but the water memorial is breath taking.

We stopped for a few drinks and then headed back to Time Square on the Subway.

All the craziness in Time Square.
We had reservations at Carmine's the first night.
Erin's "kiss" from out waitor.

Yumness
After dinner drinks at the W.
The next day our goal was to shop and sight see.  Some people had a little bit of a rough morning :)

Cupcakes from Magnolia Bakery

Beautiful Christmas lights.

This was the best toy store in America.  I had so much fun.  I would love to take Harper here one day.  We may or may not have had to buy an extra suitcase just to bring all of our goodies home :)

Jenna joined us later in the day :)

St. Peter's Cathedral.
There was a funeral going on for a retired police officer at the time and it was absolutely gorgeous.  Something I will never forget.

Rockefeller Center

I bought my first pair of Brooks running shoes too.
On the second night we had reservations at a swanky place called The Darby.

More coming soon...
